Get Early Access

It's 2pm and something just hit you sideways.

The news. A work email. A social media-promoted product you suddenly want to buy right now. Health anxiety that sprang from a normal headache.

The pressure builds, and you need to do something with it. Research it. Fix it. Text them. Write it down.

Something grabbed you and won't let go. The panic, the fear, the thought screaming for resolution. Write it down. Tag it. Let the app hold what your mind can't stop holding.

Capture it

Lock It Away

Choose 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, or a week. The app holds it while you take a breath. Now there's space between you and the impulse. Room to let it settle before you decide what it actually needs.

You logged it. You gave it somewhere to go. You can take a breath. You can be present for the rest of your day. The thought is held, and for now, that's enough.

Move Forward

Gain Perspective

When it unlocks, you come back steadier. Read what you wrote with fresh eyes, notice how it lands differently now. You can copy the text if you need it elsewhere. Mark it as resolved if the distance settled it.

Pattern Recognition

Over time you will recognize the pattern you've been living in.

Urgency stops being your baseline and becomes something you notice.

Tag Your Thoughts

Anxiety, FOMO, doom scroll fear, work panic—label what's pulling at you and watch what shows up most often.

Create Distance

The lock feature is a gentle nudge to step away from the thought, and your phone. The app creates the distance you need to breathe, settle, and come back clearer.

Your Privacy as Priority

Urgency Diffuser is a native app with no cloud, and no database. Nothing you write is sent anywhere, it is all stored on your device. You can wipe your data at any time in the app settings.

No Ads. No Upsells.

No Disguised Distraction.

The point is to get you off your phone, actually off it. Not scrolling through "wellness" content that's just another way to keep you clicking. Not watching ads disguised as solutions.

You log the thought. You close the app. You go live your life. That's it.

This isn't designed to keep you engaged. It's designed to let you go.

Urgency Diffuser was born out of my own need for it.

I first made this concept as a (kind of ugly) web app, around a year ago.

This idea came to me when I was in the middle of a health anxiety spiral. A place I have been way too many times.

I'd notice a single symptom and spiral for hours. Google holes. Self-diagnosing thirty terminal illnesses. Texting friends to ask for their opinion. Absolutely convinced this was it. More often than not the next day I was not worried anymore, and palm to my forehead asked how did I spend three hours on that?

But it wasn't just health stuff. Work emails that landed wrong. Fears that someone was mad at me. Ideas that felt urgent to capture. Everything grabbed me with the same intensity, the same now now now.

I've worked with dozens of business owners helping them use technology to actually step away from screens and recenter on their lives. But I kept realizing: there are very few tech tools that actually, for real, help you get away from tech. Most just keep you clicking.

The pattern I saw in them, and in myself, is that everything often feels way more serious and important than it is. Until you give it some distance. Then it doesn't.

I needed this. Maybe you do too.
